This is an African American Veteran owned small business firm. A
majority of the advisory consulting capabilities will be
provided by the firm's key person, William “Bill” Lawrence,
Owner & Managing Director. As the key person, he brings
excellent communication skills and extensive qualifications in
overseeing major programs through working with senior leadership
in both government and corporate entrepreneurial markets. His
business background includes two years in Purchasing Management
with Cummins Engine Company, and 18 years of Marketing
Management at GTE Corporation. In addition, he completed 30
years of service in the United States Air Force Reserve, and in
2001, he retired in an Air Force Acquisition Contracting Reserve
Brigadier General position. He is the recipient of numerous commendation
medals including The Bronze Star.
Mr. Lawrence's technical background includes:
- Computer Programming
- IT Project Management
- DOD Acquisition Professional Certification at Level III in Air
Force Contracting
- Service on weapon systems acquisition panels
- Four years tenure as a public member of the Texas Board of
Registration for Professional Engineers—Chairman of the Board's
Enforcement Committee
Mr. Lawrence's extensive education includes degrees in Law,
Public Administration, Government Contract Management and
Political Science. His knowledge, long successful work history,
and broad experience in corporate business methods, public
sector service, and the military have prepared the firm to be a
tremendous asset for clients who have the ultimate goal of
delivering quality work on time at a reasonable cost.
